PokerStars Rewards discontinued – FAQ

It's time for a game-changer. We're coming up with new and exciting ways to engage with you in 2025.

That's why we discontinued our old rewards program for players in your region.

Why did you remove PokerStars Rewards?

We've decided on a totally new concept: rewarding your loyalty with special promotions. This way, you'll have more fun because we'll be more flexible with seasonal offers.

We want to explore new ways to enhance the PokerStars experience for you. Expect new poker offers and exciting challenges around our new loyalty campaign, 'Streaks'.

What’s the main change?

With the end of PokerStars Rewards came 'Streaks', your upgrade to loyalty rewards. Your entertainment is leveling up in 2025.

Check it out under 'Promotions' and in our Help Center.

Does this have any impact on other PokerStars' services?

No, everything else remains the same. All the games, features and exclusive benefits you love are still available.

You can keep enjoying our top-notch poker platform with some of the biggest tournaments online, and last but not least, our great player community.

What happened when the rewards program was taken down?

On the day the program ended, we turned off the PokerStars Rewards widget. Players then no longer earned any reward points or Chests.

But you didn't lose anything when this happened, as we covered your progress towards completing your last progress bar.

Can you provide a breakdown of the changes?

On January 7, the first mailer with the news was sent to players.

On January 16, we went live with the changes:

  • We launched 'Streaks' at midnight.
  • We removed PokerStars Rewards around 9:00 that day.

We know it can be hard to let go, but we're sure you've already rebooted with 'Streaks'.

Why was PokerStars Rewards switched off with a short delay?

This happened for service reasons:

  • We wanted to make sure we were all on board and in full force when the PokerStars Rewards widget was taken down.
  • As a precaution so we could have reacted promptly if needed, but everything went smoothly.

On a side note: You earned reward points until PokerStars Rewards was replaced by 'Streaks'.

Did you compensate players for unfinished progress bars?

Yes, all players with pending progress bars received the value they had earned up to the cut-off on January 16, when 'Streaks' launched.

We processed these credits on January 21, and added the pro-rated amount as cash bonuses to players' PokerStars accounts.

What's the plan going forward?

While we’re not going for another fixed rewards program, we still want to honor your loyalty.

With 'Streaks', we've created an excellent alternative. This multi-level challenges campaign returns great value to players. See first-hand HERE.

Plus, there'll be plenty of seasonal offers on top of 'Streaks'. Keep an eye on our mailers, and regularly stop by our website.

What about previous side offers like Early Bird Zoom or Zoom Happy Hours?

We had to end these offers because they were based on reward points.

But you won't miss out on anything, as this budget remains available for promotions. We'll use it for brand-new campaigns coming your way in 2025.

What about high-volume players?

Everybody playing for real money on our site can opt in to 'Streaks'.

High Rollers will certainly hit their milestones earlier than recreational players, but there's no add-on or extra challenge for them as part of 'Streaks'. With this offer, all players are treated as equals.

That said, we love it when you spend time with us at PokerStars. It's why we want to make your gaming experience that more engaging.

What if I complete all six streaks? Can I get more rewards?

Not as part of your completed streak, but there'll be a new one the following week. You'll never be far away from your next 'Streaks' puzzle.

And of course, you're very welcome to join in with our other promotions. We go all-in here, with new launches almost daily, so there's something for everyone.
