Winning additional seats for the same live event online

Winning multiple seats for the same live event

This article explains what happens if you win more than one seat for the same live event through online satellites.

The rules are different for:

  • European Poker Tour (EPT) Main Events
  • regional live events

Can I win more than one seat for the same EPT Main Event?

Yes, but there is a limit.

You can win:

  • one EPT package, and
  • one-seat-only satellite

for the same EPT Main Event.

You cannot win more than one package for the same event.

Can I transfer or give away my EPT package or EPT Main Event seat?

No.

EPT packages and first seats for an EPT Main Event cannot be:

  • transferred
  • exchanged
  • given to another player

If you do not play your EPT Main Event seat, the seat is forfeited.

What happens if I win both a package and a seat-only ticket for the same EPT Main Event?

You keep the EPT package.

When the event starts, the seat-only ticket value is converted to T-Money and credited to your PokerStars account.

What counts as a regional event?

Regional events are most PokerStars live tour events that are not EPT Main Events.

Typical characteristics:

  • Buy-in is usually around €1,100
  • Events take place across multiple tour stops
  • Buy-ins can vary depending on the event

EPT Main Events are excluded because they usually have €5,000+ buy-ins.

Can I win multiple seats for the same regional event?

Yes.

There is no limit on the number of seats you can win for the same regional event.

You can play and win multiple online satellites targeting the same event.

What happens if I win more than one seat for the same regional event?

The first seat is used for the target event.

Any additional seats are converted into Player’s Choice tickets.

What are Player’s Choice tickets?

Player’s Choice tickets are flexible live event tickets.

You receive them when you win more than one seat for the same regional event.

These tickets are not tied to a specific destination. You can choose how to use them across eligible live events.

How can I use a Player’s Choice ticket?

You can use Player’s Choice tickets in several ways:

  • Re-enter the same regional event
  • Enter another regional event with the same buy-in at a different stop
  • Combine multiple tickets to enter a higher buy-in event (for example, a high-roller event)
  • Split the ticket value to enter multiple smaller side events
  • Exchange the value for online tournament entries such as Sunday Million bundles

How do I change or use my Player’s Choice ticket?

Contact the live events team to request changes.

Email: live@pokerstarslive.com

The team can help you:

  • combine tickets
  • split tickets
  • apply tickets to other events

What happens if there is leftover value after splitting a Player’s Choice ticket?

If splitting a ticket leaves a remaining balance, the leftover value is converted to T-Money.

The T-Money is credited to your PokerStars account.
