Verify your account to play against European players

In line with license requirements for your area, all newly registered users must verify their accounts within 30 days of completing the Real Money form to activate their accounts.

The good news is that the new process is easy to complete. Just follow these steps:

1. Log in to your PokerStars account and complete the Real Money form

If you have not filled in the Real Money form, you will need to do so first by visiting the 'Cashier'. The details you use on the Real Money form need to match the ones shown on your identification documents

2. Verify your identity

Send us your documents by selecting ‘Send Documents Now’ after completing the Real Money form. A new pop-up window will open, allowing you to upload your documents. You need to use one of the following as proof of identity (ID):

  • Passport
  • Driver’s licence
  • National ID card

3. Upload proof of address

You will also need to send us proof of your home address, showing your full name, complete mailing address and the issue date. This could be a recent utility bill, for example. Proof of address documents should not be older than 3 months.

We’ll be in touch when your documents have been reviewed. Head to our FAQs page for more information about account verification.

Here are a few more things you need to know:

1. Withdrawal restrictions

If you’ve made a deposit but haven’t yet verified your account, you won’t be able to withdraw your funds until you verify.

2. Suspension and closure

Your account will be automatically suspended 30 days after you complete the Real Money form if you haven’t verified your account. Your account will be automatically closed 30 days after account suspension if you still haven’t verified your account. Once this happens, you’ll need to create a new account to play with us again.

To avoid this, we recommend you validate your account. Once your account is successfully verified, you’ll be able to access our full range of Real Money games, including playing against players from across Southern Europe.

Don’t miss out. Come and play.
