General
The following rules include reasons for voiding bets.
These rules apply to NHL, AHL and any NHL-sanctioned competition.
All bets will be settled based on results and statistics provided by the relevant governing body.
Matches must go 55 minutes for bets to stand. If a match is suspended prior to the 55th minute of play, bets will be void unless the result of a market has been unconditionally determined during the normal course of play.
Overtime (including any subsequent shootout) counts for all markets unless otherwise stated.
In the event of a shootout, the winning team will be credited with one goal. This counts for all markets where applicable.
If a bet is placed after the relevant result or outcome is known, then the bet will be void.
Abandonments, Cancellations, Postponements
If a match is postponed, all bets will be void unless it takes place within 48 hours of the original start time.
Outright Markets
All Outright markets include playoffs where applicable.
Moneyline, Puck Line, Total Goals and Alternates Markets
Includes overtime and any subsequent shootout for settlement purposes. If the total is the exact index quoted, bets will be void.
60-Minute Markets, 3-way Match odds, Match odds and Total Goals Double
Excludes overtime and shootout goals.
65-Minute Markets
Includes overtime and shootout goals.
2-Way Match Betting
Bets will be void if the regular time result (end of 3rd period) is a tie.
Period Markets
Bets will be settled based on the exact score of the specified period. For settlement purposes, the third period does not include any overtime played. Dead heat rules apply to the Highest Scoring Period market.
Period X Draw No Bet, Period X 2-Way Result
Bets will be void if the period on which the bet was placed is a tie.
Double Result
Bets will be settled based on the score of the match at the end of the first and third periods.
60 Minute Draw No Bet
Bets will be void if the regular time result (end of 3rd period) is a tie.
Total Goals
Bets will be void if the number of total goals the bet was placed on is equal to the combined total of goals from both teams at the end of the match.
Period Total Goals
Bets will be void if the period number of total goals the bet was placed on is equal to the combined total of goals from both teams at the end of the specified period.
Home/Away Team Total Goals
Bets will be void if the number of total goals the bet was placed on is equal to the number of goals scored by the team on which the bet was placed.
Number of Home/Away Goals
Bets will be settled based on 60 minutes play only. This market does not include overtime or shootouts
Team to Score Xth Goal
The winner will be the team to score the specified goal number first. This market does not include overtime or shootouts.
First Team to Score
The winner will be the team to score the first goal. This market includes overtime but does not include shootouts. If the match goes to a shootout and no goal has been scored, bets on this market will be void.
Player Proposition Markets
Overtime counts for all player proposition markets. Players must appear on the ice during play for bets to stand. Only goals scored in regulation time or overtime count for settlement purposes. Shootout goals do not count.
Goalscorer Markets
All players who are dressed to play are considered runners. If a player is not dressed to play in the match, bets on that player will be void. Only goals scored in regulation time or overtime count for settlement purposes. Shootout goals do not count.
For First and Anytime Goalscorer markets, if ‘No Goalscorer’ is not offered, then these markets would be void if the final score is 0-0.
European Ice Hockey and IIHF International Competitions
General
The following rules include reasons for voiding bets.
Bets will be settled based on the result declared by the relevant governing body at the end of the match. In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.
Bets will be settled based on the result at the end of regulation time unless otherwise stated.
If a bet is placed after the relevant result or outcome is known, then the bet will be void.
Abandonments, Cancellations and Postponements
If a match is postponed, bets will be void unless it takes place within 48 hours of the original start time.
If a match is abandoned, bets will be void unless the outcome has been unconditionally decided.
2-Way Match Odds
Bets will be settled based on the result after overtime (including any subsequent shootout).
Outright Markets
All Outright markets include playoffs where applicable.
Period Markets
Bets will be settled based on the exact score of the specified period. For settlement purposes, the third period does not include any overtime played. Dead Heat rules apply to the Highest Scoring Period market.
